Claire Brodsky '21 says "what started out as a personal outlet for positivity and inspiration in 2018, became a space anyone can connect with today. A Little Taste of Sunshine is all about promoting the beauties of the world, sharing positivity, emphasizing the importance of a women support women world, and encouraging a safe space for women to share their voices. My goal is to make you smile and feel as though each day is a bright sunny one."
Brodsky's shares her inspiration for beginning the company.
"I started the company my freshman year of college when I was feeling especially homesick and anxious. What made me feel better was to remind myself of the beauties of the world, inspirational quotes, and the relationship strong women had with one another. I decided to start posting original photos I had taken from places I visited, explored, people I was inspired by, and more. I quickly gained a strong following and decided to turn the account into a blog. Soon enough, I had women reaching out to me asking how they can contribute. I opened up the blog to be an online magazine and currently have 6 writers contributing to the magazine."
